FAQ
My makeup artist wants to use makeup that isn't acne safe. What do I do?
Just do it! The makeup artist knows how makeup will show up in photos, and it's best just to do exactly what they recommend on the day-of. You can return to your normal skincare routine and acne-safe makeup the day after. Your skin will bounce back because you will use a smart routine that kills acne-causing bacteria.
Is it safe to spray tan my face?
Yes, but two problems to watch out for: One—spray tans are extremely drying, so it might not look good in photos. And two—your skin care products will remove the spray tan. My favorite acne safe, non drying way to tan your face is LUX UNFILTERED bronzing face drops.
How many days prior to a wedding event can I get treatment?
If you have been consistent with treatments and products, getting treatment the day before is safe. Of course, this will be a treatment that we have done many times In the past so we won't risk irritation or a reaction.
How soon before the wedding events start should I start treatments and products with you?
There's no such thing as too soon. A skincare routine is like a workout routine… the sooner we start, the better shape you will be in! Another way skincare is like working out is that results take time and consistency!
What should I avoid before an event?
We will avoid any deep peels that may require downtime.
No scrubbing the skin or using hot water.
Avoid alcohol, get plenty of sleep, and drink lots of water the night before.
(We offer different at-home treatments you can do the night prior to an event if you will be traveling.)
